CreativeMe Writing Competition

CreativeMe is a brand new creative writing competition for all looked after children and young people.  Click here for more information.

 

Pearson Publishing are running the competition and children's author Roger Hurn will help to judge the entries.

 

The age categories are: 4-7, 8-11, 12-15 and 16+. Two winning entries from each age category will be published in an anthology that will be made available via the nimbl app. Winners will also receive a book token and certificate.

3 Week Summer Music School

This is a 3 week programme designed to encourage disadvantaged young people into music and performance. We are looking for young learners who are not currently in education or employment including those seeking asylum or with other challenging circumstances to deal with.

If you feel that you would benefit from and enjoy participating in our summer project and can play an instrument, sing, rap, make music using a computer or enjoy engineering and stage-hand work, we want to hear from you.

The programme will run for 3 weeks from 18th July until 5th August and will require daily attendance, Mondays to Fridays, between 9.30am. and 4.30 pm. Lunches and travel money will be provided. Only 30 places are available - book your place now!
