University of Greenwich - Care Leaver Summer School 2016
The University of Greenwich, working with multiple Local Authorities, are holding a taster event specifically for looked after children and young care leavers.
During the three-day non-residential taster event, students learn what it is like to be at university and will develop personal and practical skills in various subject areas.
They will get to experience a little bit of university life - spending time at workshops, taking part in debates, developing personal skills, meeting new friends and graduating.
Each day will begin at 10.00am & finish at 4.00pm.
We can provide help with transport to and from the event. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Even if you are not thinking about going to university, still come along and have fun!
Monday 20 June–Wednesday 22 June 2016
Medway Campus, 10am–4pm
