To support you with your education, we want to let you know that KCC has now opened 12 libraries for bookshelf browsing and borrowing, pre-bookable computers and WiFi sessions.
To be able to access these services you will need to register for a Kent County Council library card and account, if you don’t already have one.
Here’s how to Register for a library card online:
- Joining online will provide you with a basic library membership that will enable you to use the library for booking computers, Wi-Fi use, as well as use our online resources, such as e-books, e-audio books, e-magazines and e-newspapers.
- Online memberships will expire after 3 months, you will then need to confirm your membership in one of the libraries to borrow items from them. To upgrade to a full library membership, you will need to show one piece of identification with your name and address on.
- Visit one of the libraries with any official identification showing your current address and you can become a full member. You will be given a library card and PIN number.
