Our young people suggested some brilliant ideas that ranged from cooking, to learning about the highway code, driving skills, support in reading and understanding sign posts, labelling in shops and money management. Becoming confident on public transport and road safety was also a very popular suggestion.
In keeping with this theme, in April, our young people became master chefs and prepared and cooked a very delicious three course meal! They learnt kitchen safety, how to prepare their cooking station by gathering the correct kitchen utensils, weighed out ingredients and followed instructions. They also learnt how important it is to tidy away!
