No Dream is Too Big Residential Workshop

Who: Care Experienced Young People aged 14 – 17

When: 8th and 9th June 2019

Where: Bathway Theatre, Woolwich with an overnight stay at University of Greenwich accommodation in Eltham

What: Think constructively about your next steps and future through performance and fun drama techniques in a workshop led by University of Greenwich lecturers, drama practitioners and care leaver students.  Then, experience a taste of university living by staying overnight in university accommodation.  Find out more here.

Cost: Free; all accommodation and food provided and travel expenses covered

Get Started With Photography

 

Who: 16 to 25 year olds looking for ‘on the job’ experience and training

When: Taster Day – 25/06/2019; Main Programme – 01/07/2019 – 05/07/2019

Where: Margate

What: Meet new people and improve your skills by working on a group challenge such as exhibiting pictures taken throughout the week at the end of programme celebration.  Not only will it help you discover new talents and develop new skills, but you could also walk away with a Bronze Arts Award. Get Started With Make-Up

 

Who: 16 to 25 year olds looking for ‘on the job’ experience and training

When: Taster Day - 17/07/2019; Main Programme - 22/07/2019 - 26/07/2019

Where: Swale (venue to be confirmed)

What: Learn about skin care and make-up techniques and discover what makes a successful advertising campaign.  You’ll also have the chance to attend a mentoring session with industry professionals from brands.  Take a look at the flyer here

Care Leaver Summer School at the University of Greenwich

Who: Young People in care in years 11, 12 and 13

When: 2nd July - 4th July 2019, 10.00 am to 3.30 pm

Where: University of Greenwich at Medway (Chatham)

What: Enjoy three days on campus at a non-residential summer school.  Learn about university life, experience a range of workshops, take part in debates and develop personal and practical skills, as well as having fun.  Take a look at the flyer for more information
