University Accommodation in Holiday Periods

You will need to apply to Student Finance England to receive a student loan to cover the cost of your university rent.

Whilst you are at university, we can pay your holiday accommodation rent if there is a need. You are responsible for your rent during term time.

The amount paid will be agreed by the Head of the 18+ Care Leavers Service up to a maximum of £140 per week in line with the Staying Put standard rate and the Local Housing Allowance Rate.
